Employee Rules & Privacy Guidelines

📌 Purpose

This document outlines the rules, responsibilities, and privacy expectations for all employees, interns, and contractors at Sofodel. Our goal is to ensure a professional, productive, and secure work environment that reflects our company’s values of trust, integrity, and innovation.


1. 👔 Code of Conduct

  • Maintain professionalism and respect at all times — with teammates, clients, and vendors.

  • Follow deadlines, attend meetings on time, and communicate clearly if delays or issues arise.

  • Use company resources (emails, tools, systems) only for official purposes.

  • Avoid sharing or discussing confidential projects with external parties or on social media.

  • Refrain from engaging in gossip, harassment, or any form of discrimination.


2. ⏰ Work Hours & Attendance

  • Follow assigned working hours unless otherwise agreed upon (Remote/Hybrid/Flex).

  • Notify your reporting manager in advance for any leaves or absences.

  • Log work hours, daily tasks, or time-tracking if part of project or team protocol.

  • For interns: consistent participation and task updates are mandatory for certification.


3. 🔐 Data Privacy & Confidentiality

  • All client data, source code, designs, campaigns, login credentials, or strategy docs are strictly confidential.

  • Never share client files or internal documents with outsiders, including friends or family.

  • Use strong passwords and keep your work devices secure.

  • Any data breach or mishandling (even accidental) must be reported immediately to the manager.


4. 💻 Technology & Tools Usage

  • Use only authorized tools, software, and accounts provided by Sofodel.

  • Do not install unauthorized or pirated software on work systems.

  • Keep systems updated and regularly back up your work.

  • Use company drives (like Google Drive/Dropbox/Project Management Tools) for file storage.


5. 🧾 Intellectual Property

  • All work created during your tenure (code, designs, videos, content, etc.) is the property of Sofodel unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Employees and interns may not reuse company/client work for personal portfolios without permission.


6. 🧠 Learning & Growth

  • We encourage self-learning, upskilling, and idea sharing.

  • Take initiative in suggesting improvements, automation, or new ideas.

  • Attend internal training sessions or workshops when organized.


7. 📣 External Communication & Branding

  • Do not represent Sofodel on social media, events, or public platforms without prior approval.

  • Avoid commenting on behalf of Sofodel without permission from the communications team or founders.

  • All external messaging (emails, social posts, proposals) should maintain brand tone and professionalism.


8. ⚖️ Disciplinary Action

Violation of these policies may result in:

  • Verbal/Written warning

  • Revocation of access to tools

  • Dismissal from project or company

  • Legal action in case of breach of confidentiality or theft of intellectual property


Acknowledgment

All employees and interns must acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these rules and guidelines as a condition of engagement with Sofodel.
